Haiku

line of twisted pines
stand sentinel above field
of petal built bells.
--April 19, 2011
intoxicating
orange blossoms surround me a-shine
in soft grey cloud glow.
--April 19, 2011
chilly nighttime breeze
stirs winter blooming flowers
as I pace the porch.
--January 20, 2011
whisper soft crying
belays your slight smile framed
in frosty moonlight.
--January 19, 2011
frogs croak softly in
time to falling tears, plinking
so slowly downstream.
--January 13, 2011
Plinks of water drops
they tease the stalking cat
as gopher chuckles.
